Phyto
Phyto (they/them) is a Transmasc French and First Nation 2S artist from the Great North, within the Robinson Huron Treaty. Although their blood roots are Metis (Mikmaw) and First Nation (Algonquin), they feel most connected to Nipissing First Nation, where they were raised. A self-taught artist, Phyto specializes in digital art, focusing on expressionism and nature-based themes. Currently studying the environment and biology in college, they hope their art inspires others and raises awareness for causes like environmentalism and mental illness.
